PNEUMATIC AND HYDRAULIC CHARACTERISTICS

Pneumatic and hydraulic testing is performed to demonstrate operating pressure, pressure drop, volume and flow parameters, as well as performance characteristics, of fluid system components and assemblies.

Pneumatic and hydraulic characteristics testing is specified in the following:

UL-427, UL-47

Pneumatic and hydraulic pressure tests are performed on fluid system components such as cylinders, valves, hoses, and tube assemblies, etc. to verify proof and burst pressure capabilities.

Proof and burst testing is specified in the following:

MIL-V-7899, MIL-V-8813, MIL-A-8897, MIL-F-18280, MIL-V-19068, SAE-J-152
